Hi, Method 1:You may try to boot in safe mode and check if the issue persists. Only the basic files and drivers necessary to run Windows are started. If an existing problem doesn't reappear when you start in safe mode, you can eliminate the default settings and basic device drivers as possible causes. To boot in safe mode follow the link.http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode Method 2:To fix a corrupted WMI repository, use these steps:a) Click Start,b) In the Start Search bar typeCMD.EXEc) Right click on the search result, select ‘Run as administratord) Type the below given command and press Enter:e) net stop winmgmtf) Using Windows Explorer, rename the folder %windir%\System32\Wbem\Repository. (For example, %windir%\System32\Wbem\Repository_bad).g) Switch to Command Prompt window, and type the following and press ENTER after each line:h) net start winmgmti) EXIT Hope this information is helpful.Amrita MMicrosoft Answers Support EngineerVisit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.
